There is no complicated science here. No added anything. We crack open the seeds Mother Earth has provided and whip them into a smooth and creamy butter by way of their natural oils. Consuming seeds in this way allows you to reap the full benefits each seed has to offer.


Every jar of Mother Butter is produced and packed with a lot of heart. We choose to work with glass jars because they’re better for you and for our environment. As a tribute to the mother’s hand (and the handwriting we may have attempted to forge once or twice), you’ll find “Mother Butter” written by mothers who inspire us and whose wisdom we hope to spread.


When we developed Mother Butter we were inspired by the many health benefits of the Mediteranean Diet. Seeds are a rarely celebrated component of this diet; rich in monounsaturated fatty acids, essential vitamins and minerals, it’s no wonder that seeds are “growing” popular in plant based diets. Naturally, Mother Butter provides the recommended daily intake of Omega 3 Fatty Acids, 28% of the daily value of Magnesium (which regulates muscle and nerve function; promotes rest) and 48% of the daily value of Copper (enables body to form red blood cells; healthy bones and immune function).
