Fat bombs are the perfect bite-sized snack to satisfy both your taste buds and your body! They may be small, but they pack a big dose of nutrient-dense fats that provide energy, satiety, and a mental boost to get you through the day (learn more about healthy fats here). These portable, no-bake fat bombs are easy to make for a midday pick-me-up, quick breakfast, or post-dinner treat. Plus, they’re nut-free, gluten-free, vegan, and keto-friendly, so anyone can enjoy them!

Microwave safe bowl, measuring cups and spoons, whisk, silicone mold (mini muffin or any other shape), sheet pan or plate

2/3 cup Mother Butter
1/2 cup coconut butter (toasted optional- see Tips)
Maple syrup or other liquid sweetener to taste
1/2 tsp cinnamon


  • Place the silicone mold on a sheet pan, plate, or other flat surface.
  • Add coconut butter to a microwave safe bowl. Heat in 15-20 second increments until melted.
  • Add Mother Butter, sweetener, and cinnamon and whisk until smooth.
  • Place the mixture in the fridge for 10-15 minutes to firm up.
  • Spoon the mixture evenly into the silicone mold.
  • Place the sheet in the freezer until firm.
  • Remove the fat bombs from the mold. Store in the fridge or freezer. 


  • Make sure your Mother Butter and sweetener are room temperature when mixing with the melted coconut butter, or else it may solidify.
  • To make your own coconut butter, blend about 3 cups of unsweetened coconut flakes in a food processor. Stop every few minutes to scrape down the sides, and continue blending until a creamy consistency is reached. For toasted coconut butter, spread the coconut flakes on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake at 350F for 6-8 minutes until golden brown before blending. This should yield around ¾ cup, and the leftovers from this recipe can be stored in an airtight jar at room temperature.
